I think Surge~ has great talent and potential. In listening to their single "baioretto", you're exposed to a great range of genres in just three songs.
The title track begins with a tranquil feeling, smoothly transitioning into a heavier rock song. The second track, "MaD Sushi Party" is another genre blending song, combining elements of heavy and pop rock to create a fun song with an amazing backbeat that's easy to dance to. The final track, "Tsumetai Kaze ~Piano version~" I can only describe as painfully beautiful.
I definitely recommend that you give this Brazilian visual band a listen, and be sure to keep an eye out for Visual KEIOS' upcoming interview with Surge~!
